VOLYA SCHOOL'S ARTISTIC DIRECTION: Volya School has always enjoyed excellent Artistic direction from some of the highest acclaimed professional dancers, ballet masters, and choreographers from Ukraine.  It is because of this caliber of instruction, that throughout Volya School’s existence, they have solidified themselves in the community as an extremely successful, high caliber competitive dance group. Currently, Volya School is under the expert instruction of Artistic Director Zhenia Bahri.  Zhenia’s expertise, knowledge and passion for the art of Ukrainian Dance are unsurpassed.  Zhenia is assisted by Kelsey Starko, a veteran dancer with Volya Ensemble as well as a certified school teacher.

COSTUMES: Volya School boasts an extensive costume library consisting of over 300 authentic Ukrainian costumes from a vast variety of regions.Volya School provides all costuming with the exception of footwear. 

PERFORMANCES: Volya School performs locally and participates in dance competitions and festivals throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan.  The group has toured to places such as Ukraine, Salt Lake City, and California. 

EVEN MORE... Volya School offers dance classes on Tuesday evenings, September through May.  Dance fees range from $350-$600 dependent on placement of dancer.  Fundraising requirements are minimal.  Volya School enjoys of fully equipped professional facilities at Dance Alberta Studios located at 11205-107 Ave in Edmonton.
